For successful computational drug design, protein structure precision and quality are paramount to success. To satisfy the immediate need for quality structural information, SBI offers three levels of service: 1) X-ray Crystallography, 2) Custom Modeling, and 3) SNPs to SNAPSTM. All models are developed in strict confidence. X-ray Crystallography Comprehensive X-ray crystallography services, which include cloning, expression, purification, crystallization, X-ray diffraction, data generation, and analysis. Services are also available for the study of native proteins and protein-ligand complexes. Preliminary computational structural information is provided prior to experimental results.
Custom Modeling Simply provide SBI with your sequence and a custom model will be provided to you in days, not months. To ensure the very best in quality and precision, each protein model must satisfy SBI's comprehensive set of structural criteria using a combination of structural validation algorithms, along with a highly regimented series of quality control and quality assurance steps. In fact, when X-ray structures are directly compared to SBI's computational structures, root mean squared deviations are within 2 angstroms in greater than 98% of all cases studied, and 100% were within 3 angstroms. SNPs to SNAPSTM SBI has developed an economical high-throughput augmented homology modeling service designed specifically for converting Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) into Single Nucleotide Associated Protein Structures (SNAPS) with remarkable speed. Each polymorphic structural phenotype is of X-ray crystallographic quality and accurately reflects the perturbations in variant populations of genetic sequences. Each SNAP structure is perfectly suited for drug discovery, docking studies, labeling experiments, diagnostic research, and more. |
