SBI-AT was established in March 1998 with premises in the Innovation Centre at Hørsholm, which is located about twenty kilometres north of Copenhagen. Its 10 employees comprise scientists and administration personnel. SBI-AT is a subsidiary of Structural Bioinformatics, Inc.^®, San Diego.
