(SBI) today announced that Mr. Michael "Mick" Savage has been appointed to SBI's Management Advisory Board, where he will provide strategic advice and counsel with respect to marketing of the Company's products and other related strategic business issues. Mr. Savage previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Molecular Simulations Inc. (MSI), a leading provider of molecular modeling and simulation software and services for both life and materials science research. He was instrumental in bringing MSI to the forefront of developing computer assisted drug discovery software for preclinical research and development. Through a combination of internal growth and acquisitions, Mr. Savage guided MSI to a sixty-fold increase in revenues over eight years. Prior to MSI, Mr. Savage served in several key senior management positions in sales and marketing. His experience and industry focus within the science and information technology communities have contributed to the success in his roles with Molecular Design Ltd. and Beckman Instruments. In addition, Mr. Savage currently serves on the Boards of a number of private companies.
