("SBI") of San Diego, California announced today that it has elected Mr. Arne J. Gillin to its Board of Directors. Mr. Gillin represented Dansk Kapitalanlaeg Aktieselskab in SBI's recent round of financing. "We are delighted to have Mr. Gillin's international expertise on our Board of Directors," says Edward T. Maggio, President and Chief Executive Officer of SBI. "Mr. Gillin has great insight in areas we'll need as we move the company into a more global organization. He'll assist us with our expansion in Europe, headquartered out of the Danish offices of SBI Advanced Technologies." Mr. Gillin has been with Dansk Kapitalanlaeg for more than 5 years. Dansk Kapitalanlaeg is the largest venture capital company in Denmark, with an equity of more than 125 million USD. Dansk Kapitalanlaeg is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Mr. Gillin sits on the board of numerous companies including the biotech, high-tech and software companies Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc., M&E Biotech A/S, Display Systems Biotech A/S, Danionics A/S, Chartec Laboratories A/S, LICEnergy A/S, and others. Structural Bioinformatics has developed a supercomputational
operating system making possible the immediate and practical use of
genomic (gene sequence) data in a broad range of structure-based drug
discovery and design processes leading to the rapid design and
identification of small molecule lead compounds. SBI is building
